Andrew Huang grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and was identified in elementary school as both a gifted student and a child with early-stage high-frequency hearing loss. This dual experience shaped his long-term commitment to improving how people understand sound—not just hear it.

 

A perfect SAT scorer (1600) and STEM researcher, Andrew has published research at the intersection of neuroscience, auditory cognition, and engineering, and has filed multiple provisional patents related to closed-loop neuro-auditory training.

 

As founder and CEO of HearGym, he leads company strategy, product vision, and core technology development. Andrew is also a co-founder of Hearing Advocacy Action, focused on education and awareness around hearing health.

Clarisse Huang brings a cross-cultural perspective shaped by experiences in Taiwan and California, where she observed a common but overlooked challenge: students quietly struggling with listening fatigue and comprehension.

 

As President of her high school Business Club and co-founder of Hearing Advocacy for Teens Action (HAT Action), she led large-scale non-clinical hearing screening and education programs, reaching over 300 individuals and families.

 

Clarisse also led strategic partnership development, successfully securing collaborations with Foxconn Group and multiple nonprofit organizations. As co-founder and COO of HearGym, she oversees business development, partnerships, and operations, translating advocacy into scalable, real-world impact.
